Fundraise for some extra funds to cover your Worlds expenses! Find out more HERE!

Registration

Registration opens January 19, 2022.

Please read this entire page before clicking on the link to register.

For a faster check in process, have your release waivers in order by first name.

New this year: All Registration documents requiring signatures must be brought to the Worlds registration desk in Orlando.

When registering online and accepting the Terms and Conditions for the event, you agree to the competition rules (CHEER | DANCE).

Please note:
Coaches and athletes must be listed on the team roster to register individually and select housing OR commuter.

REGISTERING SPECTATORS

Spectators may register for a hotel package with your team's registration number. Your team's registration must already be approved.

Spectators DO NOT register as commuters.

If a spectator only needs to order tickets, direct them to the DISCOUNTED TICKETS link on the registration page. You must provide them with your team's customer number.

PACKAGE UPGRADES

You may upgrade the ticket included in your package for the rates below. This can be noted in the ADD ON step of the registration process. Extra tickets for family members must be purchased through the DISCOUNTED TICKETS link on the main registration page.

3-Day Park Hopper® Tickets may be upgraded to 4-Day tickets for an additional $75

3-Day Park Hopper® Tickets may be upgraded to 5-Day tickets for an additional $138

PARK RESERVATIONS

If you purchase a Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper® Option, you will be able to make a reservation for at least one of the theme parks. It's possible that some parks may reach capacity so we strongly recommend you register and pay early so you may book your reservations.

To help manage park capacity, the Walt Disney World Resort has introduced the Disney Park Pass System, a new theme park reservation system. Once you register and pay in full, you will receive a ticket order confirmation number in 7-10 business days. The confirmation will include details on how to make your reservation, including how to create your account, make park reservations and how to use MagicMobile.

To make theme park reservations, you will need a My Disney Experiences account and valid theme park admission linked to it. Then, simply log into your account and select the dates and theme parks you wish to visit. To enter a theme park, both a reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same day are required. Please note that all reservations are limited in capacity, subject to availability and guaranteed until confirmed.

If your top choice park reaches capacity, you can make a reservation for another park and then “hop” to your top choice after 2 pm that day.

Please note that NO changes or upgrades are possible after ticket orders have been placed. And remember, no Disney Park Hopper tickets will be sold on-site at Worlds.

SAFETY CHAMPION

Each team, whether on a hotel travel package or commuter package, MUST designate one person (other than the head coach) to be the Safety Champion. This person must be over 18 years of age and willing to participate in additional safety training from the Walt Disney World Resort prior to the event. A program bringing multiple teams must designate a different individual for each team.

Each Safety Champion will be confirmed upon registration in Orlando. Their responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) ensuring the team’s athletes, coaches and spectators follow the health and safety requirements such as face coverings indoors, etc.

Please continue to watch the INFO CENTER for more information to prepare your Safety Champion for Worlds.

Roster Verification Process

Roster verification appointments with your USASF regional director will be conducted virtually the week prior to arriving in Orlando. Please watch for more information regarding scheduling. A USASF regional director will contact the program owner and primary contact listed on the bid declaration form to schedule your virtual roster verification appointment for late April.

Your primary contact will receive a digital packet (via email) from your Regional Director.

You will need to complete the roster verification forms and submit them before your appointment day and time.

Your regional director will review the packet and verify everything signed by the program owner or primary contact.

Once you complete the roster verification appointment, your team(s) will be approved to check in for the Worlds event.

Athletic Performance Standards

CHEER ONLY

All USASF teams must adhere to USASF rules, including the Athletic Performance Standards (APS), at all USASF events, including The Cheerleading Worlds.

The Athletic Performance Standards (APS) are found at USASF CHEER RULES, page 39.

CLICK HERE to watch a nine-minute video of the Athletic Performance Standards. It is the responsibility of the program owner to ensure these rules are followed.

CLICK HERE for the APS TIP SHEET.

The USASF steering committee for the Athletic Performance Standards (APS) developed an interactive review process to help teams meet the APS for the 2021-2022 season. This process assists owners and coaches in understanding the expectations of the APS. CLICK HERE if you would like to take part in the interactive review process.

Athlete Bid Limitations - Cheer Only

Athletes within the same program are limited to the number of teams on which they are eligible to compete and earn paid bids. Once an athlete has competed for a team and earned a paid bid, they are permitted to move to another team within their program. If their second team earns a paid bid, they are bound to the second team and may only compete with the second team at Worlds. They no longer are eligible to compete with the first team once the second team is awarded a paid bid.

Teams are allowed a limited number of athletes who previously earned paid bids that may compete for and be awarded paid bids on a second team:

SENIOR EXTRA SMALL/COED TEAMS may have up to three athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

SENIOR SMALL/COED TEAMS may have up to three athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

SENIOR MEDIUM/COED TEAMS may have up to four athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

SENIOR LARGE/COED TEAMS may have up to six athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

SENIOR OPEN/COED TEAMS may have up to four athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

U.S.-BASED TEAMS IN IASF DIVISIONS may have up to four athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

FOR WORLDS 2022 ONLY:

EXCEPTIONS TO CHEER ATHLETE BID LIMITATIONS

Due to the uncertainty and unknown surrounding COVID, the USASF will allow each division a specific number of athlete EXCEPTIONS to the bid limitations guideline detailed above.

Teams are allowed a limited number of athletes who previously earned paid bids that may compete for and be awarded paid bids on a second team and NOT be held to compete with the second team:

SENIOR EXTRA SMALL/COED TEAMS may have no more than one athlete who was previously awarded a paid bid.

SENIOR SMALL/COED TEAMS may have up to two athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

SENIOR MEDIUM/COED TEAMS may have up to three athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

SENIOR LARGE/COED TEAMS may have up to four athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

SENIOR OPEN/COED TEAMS may have up to three athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

U.S.-BASED TEAMS IN IASF DIVISIONS may have up to three athletes who were previously awarded paid bids.

NOTE:  It is the responsibility of the program to ensure that rosters provided at Worlds Bid competitions are accurate and reflect the athletes that competed on the floor and adhere to the parameters of the Cheer Athlete Bid Limitation.

NEW!

USASF LIMITED DIVISIONS

The 2022 Cheerleading Worlds offers three new Senior divisions:

1. LIMITED XSMALL / SMALL (All Girl)

2. LIMITED XSMALL COED

3. LIMITED SMALL COED

Limited Divisions are reserved for programs represented by only one team at The Cheerleading Worlds. A team qualifies for a Worlds bid by competing in the traditional division:  XSmall, Small, XSmall Coed or Small Coed. However, when registering for Worlds, the team now has the option to transfer to the appropriate Limited Division or remain in the traditional division in which they earned the bid.

NOTE: Limited Division options are offered exclusively at The Cheerleading Worlds, not during regular season competitions.

Credentialing Requirements - Cheer Only

All cheer teams competing at The Cheerleading Worlds are required to have a coach, or combination of coaches, with credentials in both building and tumbling as follows:

LEVEL 6 TEAMS:  Credentialed through Level 6 in either building, tumbling or both.

LEVEL 7 TEAMS:  Credentialed through Level 7 in building and 6 in tumbling.

NON-TUMBLING TEAMS:  Credentialed in building to the level of the team.

This may be one coach with both skill sets or a combination of coaches who have both skillsets between them. The appropriately credentialed coach(es) must be on the roster and present in the warm-up room. In addition to the team requirements, all cheer coaches entering the warm-up room must be credentialed in either building, tumbling, or both up to the level of the team.

PLAN AHEAD!  Log in to your coach profile to make sure your credentialing is up-to-date. For more assistance, contact credentialing@usasf.net.

DON’T DELAY!  Coaches WITHOUT credentials prior to arriving in Orlando may be credentialed on-site by appointment.

Coaches will be charged a $500 on-site administrative fee in ADDITION to the normal credentialing fee.

Contact Angela Bruno, abruno@usasf.net, to schedule an appointment for Orlando testing in advance.

Coaches who fail to make an appointment in advance will pay a $200 walk-up fee in ADDITION to the $500 on-site administrative fee and normal credentialing fee.

There are NO EXCEPTIONS. Appointments may be made until the close of business on Friday, April 15, 2022, to avoid walk-up fees.

Event Safety Tips

Coaches, please read and pass along to your athletes/dancers.

Hotel Safety

Even though your team may be feeling creative and excited, remind them not to post anything outside their hotel room that identifies them—strangers can use this information in unsafe ways. This means no pictures, posters or names on doors. Remind them not to open their hotel room door for someone unknown to them. This is especially important for minors traveling without parents, or when athletes/dancers are in their rooms alone.

Other safety tips include:

  • Try not to leave personal information in the room, even in the trash can. Examples of this can be airport luggage tags or other documents that contain a name and address.

  • Discard the sleeve the front desk gives you to hold your key card. Those sleeves typically have the room number written on them. If a key ends up lost this will at least prevent someone from finding it and knowing which room number it opens.

  • When leaving a hotel room, give the illusion that someone is still there. Put the do not disturb sign on the door, leave the television on at a low volume and close the curtains.

  • Remind your athletes/dancers to avoid being the only person on an elevator with a stranger.

Competition Safety

Make a habit of surveying your surroundings when you first arrive.

  • Note where the exits are in relation to spaces where you will be for a longer time, such as practice rooms.

  • Pay attention to how security personnel at the facility are uniformed, are they dressed differently than just general staff? You may need to make contact with security if someone is behaving inappropriately.

  • Pay attention to where emergency medical supplies are.

  • Be sure to know where the AEDs are and know where you can locate a trainer.

  • Encourage your athletes/dancers to do the same.

Safe@All Star App

In less than 5 minutes, a parent can create a safety profile for their athlete on the Safe@AllStar mobile app. Consider asking the parents of your team members to set up a profile prior to leaving for the event. This is a FREE benefit of USASF Membership.

The Safe@AllStar mobile app utilizes crowd-sourcing technology to alert assigned “friends” or the entire Safe@AllStar mobile platform. The alert is triggered directly by the parent or assigned “friend”. Share the following info with your team's parents to get them started.

Using the app is simple! Register on the app using your USASF email (that’s really important!) which will enable you to create an athlete profile. Create your athlete profile, and add optional “friends” to your athlete’s profile enabling others to send out alerts on behalf of your athlete. “Friends” can be anyone who has downloaded and registered on the app – they do not need to be a USASF member. You will need the email address your “friend” used to register on the app in order to make them a “friend”.

In the event an athlete is missing, the parent or assigned “friends” of an athlete’s profile can send either a Yellow alert (sent to assigned “friends” only) or a Red alert (sent to the entire Safe@AllStar mobile platform – used in true emergencies only) requesting assistance locating the athlete. The alert includes photos and a detailed description of the athlete enabling not only the entire crowd at an event, but the entire Safe@AllStar app community across the country to immediately try to locate the athlete.
